Giving it as a gift? It arrives in its printed Christmas box with the Santa picture on the front, so it looks the part under the tree.

A new piece of the picture each night. The whole picture on Christmas Eve.

No chocolate, no screens. Just a small numbered box after dinner, 42 pieces on the table, and a Santa scene that gets a little more complete every evening of December.

Night by night

Watch the picture fill in

Slide through the 24 nights. Each box adds 42 pieces, so by the last night all 1,008 are on the table and Santa's whole street is lit up.

  • 42pieces in each box, a batch you can finish in one sitting
  • 1 to 24numbers printed on the boxes, so nobody opens the wrong night
  • 1:1full-size poster of the picture to work from
  • On the backpieces are numbered on the back, which helps when you're stuck
Night 10420 of 1,008 pieces

Most families start with the edges. The board shows how far along you are, not which pieces are in which box.

How the evenings go

One box after dinner

  1. Find tonight's numberThe 24 red boxes sit in a tray, numbered 1 to 24. Kids love being the one who finds it.
  2. Tip out 42 piecesLay them face up, keep the poster close, and sort the edges and the colours.
  3. Add them to the pictureLeave the puzzle where it is overnight. Tomorrow there's a new box and a bigger picture.

The maker's own photo shows the same idea: a few pieces on December 1, the full Santa scene by December 24.

Watch

Tonight's box, out of the tray

Every evening starts the same way: one small red box, one number, and a few minutes of everyone leaning over the table.

  • 24 boxes in a 4 × 6 tray
  • Each box is 1.8 × 1.8 × 2.4 in
  • Nothing to charge, plug in or download

One table, everyone

The puzzle everyone can help with

A jigsaw is one of the few things a six-year-old, a teenager and a grandparent can all do at the same table. This one just gives you a reason to sit down together every night.

  • Screen-free, every eveningA little sorting and fitting after dinner, with the phones face down.
  • A job for every ageLittle hands find edge pieces and open the box. Older ones take the tricky sky.
  • Small enough to finish42 pieces is a satisfying batch, not a whole-weekend project.
  • Something you made togetherOn Christmas Eve the last piece goes in, and there's the picture you built all month.

The picture

What you'll finish on Christmas Eve

The puzzle picture: Santa with a reindeer and a sleigh full of gifts on a snowy, lamplit village street

Santa stands beside his reindeer and a sleigh piled with presents, on a snowy cobbled street lined with glowing shop windows. There's plenty to sort: red coat, white fur, warm windows, blue snow.

Questions families ask

Something else?Email support@thepuzzleadventcalendar.com and we'll help.
When do we start?

Open box 1 on December 1 and one box each evening after that. Box 24 is the last one, on Christmas Eve, and that's when the picture is finished.

How hard is it?

It's a 1,008-piece jigsaw, so the whole thing is a proper puzzle. Splitting it into 42 pieces a night makes it much easier to get through, and the full-size poster and the numbers on the back of the pieces help when you're stuck.

What age is it for?

The maker doesn't give an age grade. The listing calls it a puzzle for kids and adults. The pieces are small, so keep them away from little ones who still put things in their mouths, and do it together with younger children.

How big is the finished picture?

20.5 × 29.6 inches. You'll want a table or a puzzle board that can stay put for the month.

Does it come with a frame?

No. The frame in one of the maker's photos isn't included. The puzzle can be lifted in one piece once it's done, which makes framing easier.

How much is shipping?

US shipping is free on orders over $50, so the 2 and 4 calendar packs ship free. Orders under $50, like a single calendar, pay $8.95. Every order is tracked.

Will it arrive before December 1?

We can't promise a delivery date, so order early. If you need it by a certain day, email us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it's realistic.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery as long as all 24 boxes are still sealed. Once a box is opened it can't be returned. If it arrives damaged, email us within 7 days with photos and we'll replace or refund it.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, for a full refund any time before it ships. Email support@thepuzzleadventcalendar.com as soon as you can.

How do I get 10% off?

Join our email list at the bottom of this page and we'll show you a code for 10% off your first order, to use at checkout.
